It is crazy to think it’s the year 2020

I still remember the Y2K scare leading up to the year 2000.  Can still remember everyone saying let’s party like its 1999. Which I never fully understood because it was 1999 when they were saying it… That is up until midnight obviously.  But either way that saying never made sense. And it also makes no sense that the year 2020 still feels like it’s in 20 years!

Not sure what the saying is this year for the New Years parties but it’s just still so strange for me to think of how when I think back 20 years ago it still feels like that was in 1980. 

Year 2020 was 20 years ago. Which is weird because 1980 still feels like it was also 20 years ago. And 2020 still feels like it is in 20 years.

Still trying to get over the thought that 2020 is here. Still trying to figure out how time flew so fast. And still trying to figure out why in the world 2020 still feels like it’s in 20 years!

If I figure all of those things out I’ll let you know… Most likely that will be in another 20 years when I might have the answers, so don’t hold your breath!  If you have any ideas or thoughts on that leave a comment below.

It is crazy to think of all of the things that have changed in 20 years.  All of the new technology. All of the new products available. How easy it is to buy the things you want. How easy it is to search online to find almost anything you might want to know, learn, or see. How watching TV has changed, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Vudu, Disney Plus and more.

20 years ago I don’t think I could of imagined all of these things. Probably because I was promised flying cars by 2020 and that was mainly what I was waiting for.

Looking forward to all of the advances in technology to come in the next 20 years.  And looking forward to finally getting that flying car in 20 years. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for that one!
